Ocean County Saint Paddy’s Day Rules and Regulations

1. No Alcoholic Beverages are permitted in the line of march or along the parade route!

2. Floats must have a theme reflecting... Themes: Youth-saluting tomorrows leaders, Patriotic, Irish American, Irish or Patriotic!

3. To insure a steady flow of the Parade there will be NO STOPPING AT THE REVIEWING STAND!.

4. All signs and banners must be approved by the Parade Coordinator before 11:30 on the Parade Day!

5. Because of the growth of our Parade, all units must maintain a maximum of 2 car lengths between units. Please cooperate with Parade Marshals (the people in the Green Jackets). They are there to help the Parade move along smoothly!.

6. Because of insurance regulations, as 1/01/97 year, there will be no throwing candy, gum, leaflets etc. from any individual, group, vehicle or float!

Our plan is Not to have the longest Parade in the State, only the BEST. Please cooperate!.

The Committee reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual or group they deem to be offensive or in bad taste!

On this glorious day, as we honor St. Patrick and celebrate the heritage of the Irish and Irish Americans, let’s have fun, but keep the Parade dignified.
