- Exactly what is a Cootie and where did they first come from?
After carefully gathering a lot of data and stuff and also from insulting with the bigger kids in the neighborhood we have
determined that Cooties originally came from deep space.
Can you hear a Cootie? If so what dose it sound like?
Cooties are microscopic creatures and therefore can only be heard with a special Cootie listening device. Some kids claim to have
tracked and listened to Cooties using a sonic spy scope from a toy store. Because Cooties can change the frequency of thier sounds you have to keep adjusting the vloume knob. When this is done the
Cootie can be heard making a scratchy sound kind of like static. This accounts for why if you get Cooties you feel itchy.
How do you catch Cooties? (Different from capturing)
There are lots of ways to catch Cooties. Here are the most common:
A- Not washing your hands
B- Washing your hands and then putting the toilet seat down.
C- Using the bathroom after your little brother, even if you wash your hands.
D- Stepping in doogie doo - since
Cooties are microscopic creatures they can travel right through sneakers and shoes.
E- Off some other kid
F- Bad luck
How do you get rid of them?
The best known way is to touch another kid and announce"You got the Cooties". To be really sure all the cooties are gone it is best to take a bath. If
possible use Cootie remover. (we have never seen Cootie remover but the bigger kids we insulted with told us it's hard to find, but as soon as they did they would sell us a sample.)
How do you keep from catching Cooties?
There are a few ways to keep from catching Cooties
A- If someone else gets them keep your ``thumbs up." For some reason Cooties can not jump
from one person to another when the thumbs are up.
B- Keep really clean.
C- Don't eat stuff off the ground.
D- Dont't eat any unwraped stuff your little brother gives you!
D- Be sure where your candy came from
E- Don't touch ichy things.
