Pledge of Allegiance

I Me; an individual; a committee of one.
Pledge Dedicate upon my honor without self-pity.  Allegiance My love, my devotion, my thoughts, and my actions.

To the Flag Our standard; Old Glory ; a symbol of courage; and wherever she waves there is respect, because our loyalty has given her a dignity that shouts, "Freedom is everybody's job."

of the United Coming to and standing by one another.  States of America Individual communities that have united into fifty great states. Fifty individual communities with pride and dignity and purpose. All divided by imaginary boundaries, yet united to a common cause, and that is love of country... of America, and of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!
And to the Republic Republic--a soveriegn state in which power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people; and it's from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.

For which it stands what "we" as Americans are all about.

One Nation under God, meaning, so blessed by God, The Great Architect of the Universe, or by whatever name "you" wish to call Him freely. The Eternal Force by Whom we are all blessed, and eventually reckon with, for all of our thoughts, deeds, and actions.

Indivisible Incapable of being divided. And while, like any other family, we have our differences, we shall always "stand" together.

With Liberty Which is Freedom; the right of self-directed power, a set of unalienable rights inherent in each of us, to responsibly live our own life, without fears, threats, or any sort of retaliation.
And Justice The principles, and qualities, of dealing fairly and squarely with ourselves and with others. A guarantee that, while we are all diferrent, we shall always care for, love, admonish, and protect one another.
For All  That means,  it's as much your country as it is mine.
And with vigilance it will stay that way, for ourselves, our children, and our children's children.

These ideals burn in the heart of every true American, who in times of peace enjoy great freedoms, and in times of crisis will preserve those freedoms by pledging their Lives, their Fortunes, and their Sacred Honor.
